«Fighting Kangaroo» steht stellvertretend für den Kampf, den Versuch auszubrechen aus der transparenten Box, sich zu befreien von den unsichtbaren Puppenspielern, die uns lenken und antreiben. Die Arbeit stellt den Protagonisten, das virtuelle ich auf eine Bühne, nackt, ausgestellt im Scheinwerferlicht. Bereit die Anweisungen zu befolgen. Wie begegnen wir einer Welt, die auf der einen Seite Individualismus propagiert und andererseits Handlungen in vorgeprägten Mustern erwartet?

[en] „Fighting Kangaroo“ is a thought-provoking work that explores the complexities of modern society and the human condition. It portrays a protagonist, the virtual „me,“ who is placed on a stage and forced to follow the instructions of unseen puppeteers. The image of the naked, vulnerable protagonist in the spotlight represents the struggle to break free from the constraints and expectations that society places upon us. The fighting kangaroo symbolizes the desire to break out of the transparent box and assert one's individuality in a world that often promotes conformity. The work raises important questions about how we confront and navigate a world that simultaneously celebrates individualism and imposes rigid patterns of behavior.
